ECO HOME SERVICES WAS FOUNDED
TO ADDRESS THE GROWING NEED TO MAKE EVERY HOME A HEALTHY HOME.

Houses are more than physical structures providing shelter. They are homes. Homes, where we raise families, socialize with friends, rest, relax, and generally retreat from the rest of the world. What many homeowners don’t realize is most newly constructed and existing homes have not been built with health and sustainability in mind. In addition, we are relatively unaware of the strong connection between the health of a home and the health of the occupants.

The average American spends 90 percent of their time indoors. So, it shouldn’t surprise us that the health of our home affects our family’s overall wellbeing. In truth, research reveals that housing undoubtedly influences occupant health. EPA studies of human exposure to air pollutants indicate indoor levels of pollutants may be two to five times — and occasionally more than 100 times — higher than outdoor levels.

THE ECO HOME SERVICES DIFFERENCE

While we are certainly committed to providing your family with the healthiest home possible, we understand that our commitment is only meaningful if we have the experience and expertise to back it up. And we do.

The professionals at Eco Home Services have over 40 years of experience in home energy design and building science. They’ve spent years studying and understanding the physical behavior of the building as a system and how this impacts energy efficiency, durability, comfort, and indoor air quality.

It’s difficult to think about our homes as unhealthy. After all, they are the place we go to be safe. But long before COVID-19, we were raising awareness about how important indoor air is to good health. If you are wondering if your home could actually be making you sick, trust the experts at Eco Home Services to provide the guidance you need to understand and improve the health of your home.
